KITA Launched “Trade Big Data
- To provide customized services for each individual
through big data analysis -
The Korea International
Trade Association (Chairman: Kim Young-ju) launched the “Trade Big Data
Service” on September 14th.
This service analyzes the
past history of customers who have used the association's support projects and
various services, and based on this analysis, it automatically recommends the most
appropriate content and services from more than 450,000 trade content such as
reports, seminars, and support projects provided by the association.
The service is available on
KITA.net, the trade information portal, tradeKorea.com, the organization's B2B
online transaction brokerage platform, and the website of Trade Academy (tradecampus.kita.net).
KITA.net offers 'customized
news' that recommends relevant news and reports according to the users'
interests in businesses and countries, 'recommended business' that recommends
exhibitions, conferences, and briefing sessions according to the history of
support projects and services, and 'support service' that recommends various
services of the association, including financial support and interpretation and
translation services that users may need.
recommends the products searched by other users who were interested in the same
products that were viewed by the users and the Trade Academy provides a service
that recommends education courses taken by others with similar learning
patterns to the users.
Park Kang-pyo, head of Big
Data Department of the Korea International Trade Associaiton, said, “Now,
information and services that are of interest to users will be provided more
conveniently and quickly without having to search for the information or
services they want,” and added, “In the future, we plan to expand the service
area such as artificial intelligence (AI) buyer matching, etc.”
